Italy Condemns Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, as “horrendous.” He emphasized that there is no room for such barbarity in democratic societies. The attack, which occurred on April 22, 2025, tragically claimed the lives of 28 people, including Indian nationals and a Nepali citizen. Several others sustained injuries. The victims were reportedly targeted because of their religious beliefs while visiting the region as tourists.
