Pakistan Confirms Losses in India’s Operation Sindoor, Names 11 Soldiers Killed
In a significant announcement, Pakistan’s military admitted that India’s Operation Sindoor resulted in the deaths of 11 soldiers and left 78 others injured. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media arm of Pakistan’s army, also released the names of the fallen soldiers, offering rare transparency during a period of rising tension along the Line of Control (LoC).
India Launches Targeted Strikes Under Operation Sindoor
According to Indian defense sources, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor in response to repeated infiltration attempts and ceasefire violations near the LoC. These attempts reportedly involved militant groups with support from across the border.

China, which maintains strong ties with Pakistan, expressed concern and advised both nations to avoid further escalation. The United Nations echoed similar sentiments, encouraging renewed diplomatic efforts.
Pakistan Honors Its Fallen Soldiers
Military funerals took place across Pakistan for the 11 soldiers killed during the strikes. Senior officers, local officials, and civilians gathered to honor their service. Families of the fallen received condolences and support from the armed forces.
“My son wanted nothing more than to serve his country,” said one grieving father. “His bravery will never be forgotten.”
The Pakistani government pledged financial assistance and employment opportunities for the families of the deceased.

The situation remains tense. While India emphasized its right to defend its territory, Pakistan accused New Delhi of disrupting regional peace. Both sides exchanged strong statements, with no immediate signs of de-escalation.
