Pakistan flag, army chief posters stuck on floor of Jharkhand HC premises, Registrar General says looking into it

Pakistan Flag Posters Found in Jharkhand High Court; Probe Ordered

Posters showing the Pakistan national flag and a photo of the country’s Army Chief appeared across the Jharkhand High Court premises in Ranchi. The shocking visuals turned up at the court’s entrance, inside halls, and even in a washroom.

Staff members spotted the posters during lunchtime. Someone, still unidentified, pasted them quietly in key areas while foot traffic was low.

Court Registrar Promises Action

Manoj Prasad, the Registrar General of the High Court, said he was unaware of the situation earlier. “I don’t have information at present. I will look into it as soon as possible,” he told reporters.

Officials have not launched a formal investigation yet. But sources say court authorities are checking if anyone connected to the High Court was involved.

Tension High After Terror Attack

This incident comes just days after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which raised national security concerns. Many believe the posters could be an attempt to provoke or send a political message.

With India-Pakistan relations already strained, such incidents attract immediate public and political attention.

Advocates Confirm Incident

Ritu Kumar, the President of the High Court Advocates’ Association, verified the occurrence. “Yes, it happened on the court premises. However, this matter comes under court administration, not our association,” she said.

Her response clarified jurisdiction but also hinted at how serious the breach was. Security lapses inside the state’s highest judicial institution raise many questions.

Security Under Scrutiny

Several legal professionals expressed shock. “How did these posters pass through security checks?” asked a senior lawyer. Others demanded a full review of surveillance systems and entry logs.

Authorities are now examining CCTV footage. They are also reviewing visitor entries from the time the posters appeared.

Public Demands Answers

People on social media questioned how this could happen at such a secure facility. Many urged the government to investigate and prevent such acts in the future.

Some compared the event to earlier cases where anti-India or pro-Khalistan posters surfaced in sensitive areas. Those incidents also raised similar questions about safety and vigilance.
